Started piano lessons with Chris last year as a 28 year old who hadn’t played since a very young child. Chris is a great teacher and has got me back on track with my playing and is helping me get rid of old bad habits. I passed my grade 1 this year with a distinction and am now working towards my grade 2.I 100% recommend coming to Chris for piano lessons for both adults and children.

I've been taught by Chris for a year now, and has seen me through Grade 1 & 2. His lessons are brilliant, he is very friendly, patient and clear, and he goes at a pace that suits your ability. After having bad luck with another teacher I tried, I was put off having lessons for a while - just wish I'd found him sooner. You feel like you are getting taught properly - but be prepared to put the work in, because you won't impress him until you're playing things correctly. Can't recommend enough!

Rare combination of an excellent musician and teacher.Very knowledgeable, he is academically rigorous in his approach to the study of the instrument, while being flexible in using different resources, ideas and styles of music and being extremely patient and kind with children. We’ve had Chris as our piano teacher for 2 years, and our experience has been fantastic with him. His approach is very patient, and he keeps lessons interesting whilst teaching the theory and basics of music in a fun way. He is very supportive and caring of his students, and we’ve recently had success in our child’s Grade 1 exam, where Chris was there before the exam to support and calm any pre-exam nerves! Highly recommended!
